An Update on the State of Downtown

SHA is honored to bring to you our guest speaker this month, Scott Ford. Scott is the Deputy Director of the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, a non-profit 501(6) property-based improvement district in the heart of California’s capital city.
He has served previously as Economic Development Director where he lead key initiatives related to the Downtown Sacramento Realignment Strategy, and as the District Director of the Old Sacramento Waterfront where we worked closely with the 130+ locally owned small businesses to foster a highly collaborative environment and supported the development of strategic partnerships geared towards enhancing the guest experience and building value through principles of place-based economic development.
Scott will share some important updates on what’s happening in downtown Sacramento. You won’t want to miss this one! Mark your calendar and plan to attend the September 27 SHA meeting.
